Get up in the early morning
Before the Sun gets burning
In case very old you are
Tiredness may arise to mar

Apply to feet no cold water
Especially during winter

The moral support
Of family or friend
Shows the willingness
Of the sufferer at hand

Push them forward
We will do
Catch them
Shall they fall

Give them hope
When they feel none is there

Simple words
and simple things
that we use everyday.
So precious are our memories
that we won't let them
slip away.
Your mind is a treasure
unique, and your very own

Don't read this, i don't want my poem to be put on the internet, but I did at first and have changed my mind, I am sorry. Maybe i will get braver one day.

while hammered one morning i started to think
would life be that different if it werent for the drink
would i wake every morning with a smile on my face
glad to be part of this great human race

They drew the curtains, and alone stood
a girl so small, yet so tall
She stood, with her head bowed
She looked up, her voice not quite loud
And then she sang

Secrets, Secrets,
Lies, lies,
She sits in her room
And cries and cries.
Theres no more trust
In this girls heart.
Finally, she found out,
That life isn't perfect,
She lived in dreams.

Writing free verse is thrilling
As our emotions greatly flow
No question of any hindrance
Our spirit is kept highly intact

Rhyme and rhythm though are fine,
They shut up our truest feelings

Time
friend or foe
it cannot be controlled
if so, you could stop it
would you
or rewind it
shall we
it may simply be managed
manage it
it's not simple
time
friend or foe

Another mundane day at work…
What brings this on?
Materialistic fulfillment overpowers my creative instinct;
Wondering … is it worth it?

Idealistic goals for the future replaced by short term benefits…
Why is life complicated?
Simple pleasures of life replaced by costly entertainments;
Have I complicated life?

Things that I loved years ago have ceased to interest me…
Where is the time for poetry, reading…anything?
I seem to be drifting through life worrying about loved ones;
Is it time to change life’s course or just drift through?
