No Way Out

Inside this box I have structure and routine.

I coast through the motions never questioning.

As I walk the tight rope of expectations preordained for me.

You took care of them
You helped them breath better
When they were tired you wrapped them up and gave them there pacifier.

What do you do
when the only one you have is you?
how do you live
when you cant stand yourself

i want to be someone differant
want to be someone distant
praying to God

Grown apart with time

They play with your mind.
They pull at your heart.
They will no longer be around.
They will forever be apart.
No more messing with your mind.
Trust in Family only.
Friends can grow apart.

yearning to create.

happy song,
come on.
make yourself spawn
inside my brain.
let me play you
'til i feel pain.
because i'm assuming
my fingers and forearms will hurt.
and these thoughts that are a-blooming

No Longer Hidden

As a flower floating on the water
I am a discarded friend, sister and daughter
Thrown out to drown and to disappear
Now the rain falls as violently as my tears
