my lip quivering
in this dream
my body shivering
in this nightmare

my life
seems split in between
so much strife
& things that seem impossible

losing my sanity
not knowing intentions
lost in humanity
is it cruelty or truthful reality

feeling so lonely
yet never seem to be alone
listen to the melody
that turns imperfection to perfection

we are fallen
it helps us rise
we are broken
it slowly helps us mend

trapped in our dark abyss
it gives us light
wondering what will come of this
when were all forsaken & forgotten

so many scars
that seem to be accepted
numerous wars
it helps you, right or wrong

your heart shredded at the seems
from lies & misery
were all damned, hearing the screams
yet were cursed, to live a life in search

if its found
never let it go
if it finds you
be wise enough to hold on tight

listen to the melody
that turns imperfection to perfection
listen to your melody
& embrace it, as it pulls you out of your
nightmare.
