Bitter Night

Fear clouds my mind
Madness is all I hear
Not a single word that's kind
No happy faces here
All I see is pain
Like knives at their sharpest
And sunshine drowned by rain
All I taste is bitter
As hate runs through my veins
I lay naked in the coldest winter
Shivering, bound by chains
Chains of memories
Freezing snow of desire
Your light and warmth is what I need
You visit, but never make a fire
You apologize and walk away
Like I knew you'd do
And I'll just dream my life away
And lay in the dark cold, without you
