My Vampire

When I was young, I saw many things.
Whether it was Rocks, or trees, or mystical things.
They played with me, and I played with them,
Everything in the world was my friend.
I ran down hills, and played in streams,
I played with fishes and laughed and screamed.
I was an angel, I was a frog,
I was a human being, who lived in a bog.
But one day while I played pretend,
I met someone and made a new friend.
His name was Jim. Was not an elf or a liar,
But truthfully, he was a vampire.
He said his home was burned to a crisp,
when he was little in 1876.
I told him that he could live with me,
He said that would make him very happy.
But he said he couldn't instead, he'll talk.
And that's what we did as we jumped, skipped and walked.
But he had to leave me on that beautiful day,
And I still remember what he did say.
"I'll come back for you when you are a little bit older.
Trust me, I will," He said this a little bit bolder.
And here I wait, in this forest so deep,
waiting for him to come rescue me.
It's been a few years, but I know he was true,
He will come for me very, very soon.
And so I waited, and days went by,
but I waited there for even more time.
And finally, his words came true,
When I saw him there, living, breathing, and true.
We live together and even now,
I love him so much, and this I vow.
This place where we live is so nice and at peace,
but where it is? You will never find me.♥
