Inside Outside

They laugh and smile, happy in their day
I stare at the glass, does it know what to say?
We are happy and true and our smiles do shine
Just sometimes I wish they could see inside my mind

I don’t know what I even think
The thoughts come fast and leave in a wink
I only wish they would give me rest
So I could go on with what I do best
