The Enerlasting Frined
We spent time together,
She walked in the cold weather.
Across this small town,
All her boyfriend could do was frown.
Considering the first time we met him,
His life seemed less dim.
As he watched her feed me a cherry,
His mood became more merry.
One year at the fair,
We were so mad we could have pulled hair.
When I passed out,
She ran to help without a doubt.
As for the boy who harassed her,
He had no idea what he was about to endure.
What she would say,
Much to his family's dismay.
As one moved away,
And the other had to stay.
We never lost hope,
The phone calls helped us cope.
Now that we are together,
We are stronger than ever.
Try as they may,
We will not stray.
To tear us apart,
They would have to rip out our heart.
