Don't Let It Show

You make me sad, don't you know

You make me mad, and I don't let it show

I lock it in, I hold these feelings tight

They just turn into tears, throughout the night

You say I'm your bestfriend

And yet, your heart you let someone else mend

So how long can I keep this feeling?

How long can I go without it revealing?

Still, it's phenominal how I can miss you so

And how you make me let my anger go

Are there lies I cannot see?

If they're in your eyes, well they got away free

That look you give me, it digs down deep

It makes me hide those secrets, the ones I keep

All those words you don't say

The ones you let get away

Make me think about this beautiful mess

But maybe it's best, if I just think less

You make me sad, don't you know

You make me mad, and I don't let it show
