Our Unrequited Walk

Walking down the path we go

Silent, when I just don't know

My eyes they beg, only for you

They long for this to be true

A word I speak it comes out fast

Wanting only, for this to last

A cold wind chill it fills the air

But it doesn't burn, it doesn't compare

To the heartbreak

The things I can't take

Nothing to show

Nowhere to go

So I keep on walking, I keep it in

The unrequitted, I don't want to win

You look to me, and I see your smile

It's a true emotion I haven't seen in awhile

But the hope you give me, keeps me going

The Love I can't help, only but showing

And yet the secret I can only keep

Now, down it goes, with the sun to sleep

The night is rising, and our path is done

And unrequitted you have won
