Finding A Friend

Finding a friend is hard to do
Especially when you don’t pursue.
You can knock on their door,
But you won’t always score.
I’ve looked for someone I can call the best
But no matter what I do, they are all at rest.
Do I have no one so I can vent,
Even though my request was sent?
I feel invisible most the time,
I cannot ring my own friendship chime!
Guy or Girl, I’m not judgmental,
They just need to treat me gentle.
I need someone to comfort me
And give me positivity;
To tell me that I’m worth the time,
To show me that I’m not a lime.
Friends should be there by your side,
Not turning away for another ride.
No more rings come to my phone,
For I know now I’m truly alone.
