At the time of my demise

When I die
I pray no soul stops to cry
Just that they might wonder why

I searched for pleasure
In the darkest corners
That they might try & measure

The infinite weight of my burdens
Some may say my life was squandered
That I lived life like a monster

Others would open their eyes to look & see
The depth and weight to my reality
